Заключение.
Каковы перспективы развития радиоориентирования? Возможно ли массовое его развитие?
Вид спорта только тогда станет полезным обществу, когда он будет для многих доступным. В пользу массовости радиоориентирования говорят следующие аргументы:
— пример чрезвычайно массового развития спортивного ориентирования на местности в СССР и за рубежом;
— тяга молодежи к технике вообще и к радиотехнике в частности;
— справедливость и объективность правил соревнований по радиоориентированию;
— относительная простота оборудования и организации соревнований;
— эмоциональность, безопасность, динамизм парного поиска.
В радиоориентировании гармонично сочетаются техника и доступность, значит, интерес к технике может быть удовлетворен для многих, причем в широком диапазоне возрастов и профессий.
Залог массовости РО в том, что оно основано на прочных фундаментах хорошо развитых базовых видов— «охоты на лис» и спортивного ориентирования.
Развитие РО, на наш взгляд, должно идти по путям, направление которых определено задачами его создания: массовость и спортивная справедливость, сочетание атлетизма и интеллекта при обязательном союзе с современной техникой.
В будущем, возможно, от парного поиска мы придем к командному, группой в 4—6 человек, стартовый интервал 5—10 мин, бегут все вместе; каждый, например работает активно только на одном-двух КП, изучая по карте местность и пеленгуя контрольный пункт и пути.
Сотрудничество при нанесении КП на карту полностью исключается, если производить отметку на специальных оценочных пунктах по памяти. На дистанции при этом карту спортсмены не получают. Возможность преследования снижается в тех видах соревнований, где на большем количестве КП совмещены задачи поиска и нанесения на карту. В этом смысле самым строгим видом из описанных будет «радиопаутинка» с нанесением на карту месторасположения всех радиопунктов по памяти.
Мы считаем, что радиоориентирование станет основным видом спорта и призывников, и молодых воинов Советской Армии, что основы РО ребята должны познавать еще в общеобразовательной школе. Поучителен в этом смысле опыт финских школ, где мальчики и девочки изучают элементы ориентирования на местности [2].
У нас много «охотников» и ориентировщиков. Каждый из них — потенциальный радиоориентировщик. Если он любознателен, имеет широкие интересы и стремления, уважает спортивную справедливость, любит, спорт не только за отдельные результаты, а понимает единую большую цель спортивного движения в целом — радиоориентирование ждет его на своих трассах. Сотрудничество спортсменов — представителей двух ведущих видов лесного спорта — в радиоориентировании открывает новые возможности для роста их мастерства, для всестороннего развития и обогащения.
Авторы этой брошюры хотели создать у читателя некоторое представление о сравнительно молодом виде спорта. И они будут считать свою задачу выполненной, если молодой человек XX века, прочитав о радиоориентировании, скажет: «Вот это по мне!»
