В пятницу, 23 декабря 2016 на Барнаульском радиозаводе — том самом, где когда-то производились самые популярные массовые приемники-пеленгаторы «Алтай-3,5» и «Алтай-145» произошел масштабный пожар.
Представители регионального МЧС в качестве предварительной причины пожара называют нарушение правил противопожарной безопасности при эксплуатации электрооборудования.
Завод продолжает тлеть и на месте пожара по прежнему работают огнеборцы. Ведется проливка горевших конструкций, разборка завалов.
